Southern Piedmont with Liguria is one of the most diverse areas in Europe: nowhere else are cities, mountains, sea, rivers and cultural landscapes so close together. The region is world-famous for its exquisite wines and culinary delights (including the coveted white truffle), which attract more and more visitors to the region every year. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2014, it is a cultural landscape that man has developed over centuries until it has been given its current unique and wonderful appearance: a sea of vines, hills, farms, small villages, churches and castles that delight every visitor. From the highest part of the Langhe, you can see the whole of lower Piedmont - from the vast plain near Cuneo, to the Langa of wines, to the gates of Turin - framed by the snow-capped Alps and the Ligurian Apennines, which in some places offer a view of the Mediterranean. In the Alta Langa, under a sky that appears even wider here. The hilly landscape consists of an alternation of farmland and woods, meadows and ravines, vineyards and hazelnut plantations, villages and farmhouses, terraced buildings with the typical dry stone walls. Various hiking trails allow you to explore the small, idyllic villages, whose hospitality is already legendary.
